The Resmon Pro is a next-generation respiratory assessment system designed to accurately and non-invasively measure respiratory mechanics using the Forced Oscillation Technique, or Oscillometry. Built for modern clinical environments, the Resmon Pro provides fast, simple, and effort-independent testing with only just a few normal tidal breaths.
The Resmon Pro is suitable for adults and children aged three years and older.
Key Features:
Effort-Independent Respiratory Assessment
- No forced manoeuvres required.
- Detection and localisation of airway obstruction
- Differentiation between central, peripheral, and heterogeneous types of obstruction.
Dynamic "Within-Breath" Testing
- Real-time visualisation of Resistance (Rrs), Reactance (Xrs), and flow or volume (configurable)
- Measurement of inspiratory, expiratory, and total Rrs and Xrs parameters.
- Automatic detection of tidal expiratory flow limitation with percentage of flow limited breaths
Slow Vital Capacity (SVC) & Lung Volume Insights
- SVC for monitoring of restrictive patterns
- Inspiratory Capacity for hyperinflation detection
- Closing Volume (CVfot) and Critical Reactance (Xcrit) for evaluating de-recruitments of peripheral airways
- Specific airway conductance (sGrs) for the evaluation of therapeutic intervention compensated for changes in lung volumes
Multiple Testing Modes
- Multi-frequency mode: 5-11-19 Hz
- Single-frequency mode: 5, 6, 8, 10 Hz
- Pseudo Random Noise: 5-37 Hz
Enhanced Patient Comfort & Testing Efficiency
- Automatic adjustment of stimulus amplitude based on patient impedance
- Optimises measurement quality and patient comfort
- Automatic discarding of breaths affected by artifacts
- User-selectable number of accepted breaths, or time to end measurement automatically to minimise operator intervention.
- Coefficient of variability (CoV%) within-measurement and within-session for quality control.
- Selectable reference equations for predicted normal values and Z-score calculation
